I’m Katie Romero, owner of Romero’s Taxes & Bookkeeping. Eight years ago, I started doing taxes just to help a friend and make a little extra money. But I quickly realized how much I enjoyed it — and it turned into something much bigger. What began as just something part time grew into a passion, then a profession, and now a business that I am incredibly proud of.
Today, I have my own office, a wonderful team, and a growing client base that trusts us year after year. I make it a priority to stay up-to-date with all IRS changes and tax law updates by attending trainings, seminars, webinars, and continuing education throughout the year. That way, my clients always receive accurate, reliable, and informed tax guidance.
I am dedicated to creating a tax experience that feels comfortable, personal, and stress-free. My goal is for every client to feel confident, supported, and truly cared for — whether they’re filing for the first time or navigating something more complex.
Outside of tax season, I’m constantly learning and working to improve the services we offer. From expanding our team and office space to adding new support and resources for clients, I’m committed to growing this business in a way that puts people first.
My passion is helping others — and knowing that, at the end of the day, we make a real difference in people’s lives.
